Highly recommend watching The Loudest Voice on Showtime. Roger Ailes is pure evil.

Somehow this adoration on ABC of a story about harassment, meanwhile the network suppressed the story of Jeffrey Epstein for THREE years, then conspired to have an employee fired from CBS because the story became public. just shameful hypocrisy. ESPECIALLY from George StepOnAllOfUs, who partied at Epstein’s mansion. THIS is why only 6% of the American public take the news media seriously.
No one can or should even try to justify the conduct of Roger Ailes. As Lord Acton said, Power corrupts… absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Ailes realized that kind of power with the success of Fox News and did not handle it wisely or in a manner to be respected. This, does not, however, taint all things Fox as the movie suggests, implies, and then screams in our ears.
Indeed, one of the most harassed persons in the film is a fictional character which means the film just turns into a “hit piece” on Fox News, and not a mere docudrama. That said, I concur with the others writing here who have noticed no such film about Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer, David Letterman, Tavis Smiley, Garrison Keillor, Charlie Rose, Glen Thrush, Al Franken, Matt Zimmerman (senior V.P. for NBC News) Mark Halperin, and a myriad of others whose deeds pre-date or were concurrent with Ailes but who were affiliated with a Left leaning entity.
Maybe Hollywood should set its own house in order before seeking to hand out judgment on others.
